Interview 2
Interview 3
I interviewed Randy about 4 months ago. Randy lived in this apartment at the time. But Randy has moved out of this apartment. He no longer lives here. After showing you his $100 USD apartment in the Philippines, I will explain what happened to Randy since he moved out of this apartment. I will also explain why Randy shut down his Youtube channel.
$100 Per Month Apartment in the Philippines
A few months ago I interviewed Randy on this Youtube channel. Randy was going broke in the Philippines because his bank had shut off his ATM card. I felt sorry for him so I shared his story with you guys and asked you to go to his channel so he could start making money on Youtube.
I was just trying to help an American going broke in the Philippines. He needed the money.
A few weeks after that interview, I started getting comments from a few of you saying that Randy was saying inappropriate things on his channel. Well, you were right. I went to Randy’s channel and I found the content that upset you.
I agree with you. Some of his ideas were not appropriate.
I complained to Randy about it and he said that if people didn’t like it, they didn’t have to watch his channel anymore. He was going to keep sharing whatever he wanted. So I decided that I could no longer recommend Randy’s channel anymore even though he needed the money.
So I removed the links to Randy’s channel from the interview. I decided I would not promote someone that was sharing ideas that were inconsistent with my values. Thank you for letting me know so I could remove links to content I do not support.
But I left the parts of the interview up that taught you how to make sure your ATM card is not shut off while you are living overseas. That video also has links to my eBook, Avoid These Expat Banking Mistakes. Those parts of the interview had no offensive content, only valuable content. I will put a link to the edited interview and the banking eBook below so you can find it if you want.
A few weeks after I removed links to Randy’s channel, Randy canceled his own Youtube channel. He was never censored by Youtube. He just canceled his own channel. He just got tired of all the negative feedback he was getting.
Before Randy canceled his channel, I had created the above $100 USD per month apartment tour in the Philippines. At the time I allowed him to put the apartment tour video on his channel so he could get more views and make money to help him.
Since my apartment tour was uploaded to Randy’s channel, when he canceled his Youtube channel, that video was no longer available to you. That was valuable content for people who will have limited resources when they retire.
There are people around the world that will be trying to live on a very low budget in the Philippines when they retire. Since I created that video myself, I had the original copy of it. So, today I decided to share my $100 USD per month apartment in the Philippines video with you. Now you know what kind of apartment you can get in the Philippines for $100 per month.
What Happened to Randy in the Philippines
So, what happened to Randy in the Philippines since he moved out of this $100 per month apartment? I honestly don’t know where Randy is now. The last I heard from him he was packing up and moving out of this apartment.
He didn’t say where he was going. But at the time, he did say he was no longer going to be sharing so many details about his life online anymore. He was tired of all of the criticism he was receiving from people. I suspect he has just decided to live a more quiet and more peaceful life.
If you want to see all three of my previous interviews with Randy, please click the top link in the notes below this video. I will put all three of Randy’s interviews at that link.
