People wonder if making money on the Internet is some sort of secret magic trick available only to the few. Before I started making money on the Internet, I thought there must be some sort of magic involved. Sort of like the magic I thought rock stars like the Stones or Led Zepplin had back when I was a teenager.
After I made my first dollar on the Internet, I realized that making money on the Internet is just a business like any other business. In fact, the odds are way better than making it as a rock star. Find someone making money online that is willing to teach you, and just do what they say.
It took me a few years to make money online because I thought I needed to blaze my own trail and be creative instead of just listening to what already works for someone else and doing what they say instead of trying to blaze my own trail.
Part of my problem was that I had started a few small businesses before. And I was trying to use things that work in the real world in my online business. But once I gave up on trying to be creative, I was finally able to follow what actually works.
