Huatulco Mexico Mud Bath Beach Tour Tour

Today, we report on our Huatulco Mexico Mud Bath Beach Tour.

In this report, we show you how to take the Huatulco Mexico Mud Bath Beach Tour and visit the Eco-Arqueológico Copalita Park.

The taxi from Huatulco Centro to Playa Bocana is 100 Pesos ($5 USD). When you arrive at Playa Bocana a lady will offer you a mud bath massage as shown in the above video for 150 Pesos ($7.50 USD). The Eco-Arqueológico Copalita Park is only about a 10-minute walk from the beach. The museum and eco-park are on the same grounds despite the map below showing them in different locations.

Here is the Google Map for this Huatulco Mexico Mud Bath Beach Tour Tour:

Bocana del Río Copalita Site Museum: The museum has archaeological materials found in this region of Mexico and along the west bank of the Copalita River, nearby. The carbon-dated recovered artifacts range in date from about 2500 years ago through the time of the Spanish invasion: Engraved stone from the Ball Court, currency axes used as money, paper crushers, stone axes, fishing net weights, and ceramic fragments from the invasion period. Source.

Eco-Arqueológico Copalita Park: This archaeological park is where most of the artifacts from the museum were recovered and is a more contemporary settlement of the people of Monte Alban of central Oaxaca Mexico. The stonework of Monte Alban is rivaled only by the Incan Empire of Peru. These original people traded with the Mayan people of the State of Chiapas, Mexico to the south, and with the Teotihuacanos people of central Mexico.

La Bocana Beach: This small beach community just about 8 miles from Huatulco Mexico has become known as a great spot for surfing. People also come here for a mud bath offered by locals at the beach.

La Bocana Beach (Mud Bath Beach): This is a large quiet beach where you can get a mud bath massage for 150 Pesos ($7.50 USD). It is also the best surfing beach in Huatulco. It does not compete with Playa Zicatela in Puerto Escondido, which is likely the best surf in all of Mexico. But it is a very relaxing long beach with driftwood shade tents. Bring a cooler and drinks and spend all day under one of the driftwood tents. You can also just enjoy the view and have a beer in one of the two beachfront bars.
