House 1: Short Term Rental-4 Bedroom, 3 Bath
If you want to stay a month or two with utilities included the present market rate is 22,000 Pesos per month ($1050 USD). The utilities included would be electrical, gas, water, Internet, community maintenance, security, and pool.
House 1: Long Term Rental-4 Bedroom, 3 Bath
To rent long-term, it would be 16,000 Pesos per month ($800 USD) and you would pay your own utilities including electrical, gas, water, and Internet, but she would pay the community maintenance, security, and pool.
House 2: Short Term Rental-3 Bedroom, 3 Bath
If you want to stay a month or two with utilities included the present market rate is 20,000 Pesos per month ($1000 USD). The utilities included would be electrical, gas, water, Internet, community maintenance, security, and pool.
House 2: Long Term Rental-3 Bedroom, 3 Bath
To rent long-term, it would be 14,000 Pesos per month ($700) and you would pay your own utilities including electrical, gas, water, and Internet, but she would pay the community maintenance, security, and pool.
Liz’s Story and Cost of Living
Liz moved here over 3 years ago. She had visited many times before moving here. She has made many local and ex-pats friends and enjoys the people that come here from all over the world. She lives in a locals area in a 3 Bedroom house but many new visitors prefer to live in gated communities when they first visit or move here. She loves being in Puerto Morelos. She feels safe here but she keeps her wits about her.

Rent: 12,000 Pesos, $600 USD
Internet: 400 Pesos Month, $20 USD
Water: 400 Pesos Month, $20 USD
Electricity: 1200 to 2000 Pesos (2 months), $100 USD Month
Groceries: 6000 Pesos Month $300 USD
Gas: 1800 Pesos $90 USD
Restaurants: 3000 Pesos $150 USD
Entertainment: 2500 Pesos $125 Month
Laundry: 200 Pesos, $10 USD
Drinking-Water: 100 Pesos, $5 USD
Cleaning Lady: 500 Pesos, $25 USD
